I know i've posted this before, but i really think it's a good idea and should be pushed somewhat. i think there should be a sound when someone logs out, so you know when they've gone. some people say when they're going others don't. it would be useful, as you wouldn't send private notes to them if you knew someone had gone. my view anyway. Kay.

Post 2 by rat (star trek rules!) on Friday, 02-Dec-2005 10:17:17

but how about people who don't log out on their own?

Post 3 by Selena Fan (Account disabled) on Friday, 02-Dec-2005 14:31:01

I aggree with the person who said they should be a sound when someone logs out! Yes that is a good idea there should be a sound so you know when someone logs out! Then when you send quick notes to them you don't have to wait for someone to tell you that who you sent the quick note has logged out!

Post 4 by cuddle_kitten84 (I just keep on posting!) on Monday, 05-Dec-2005 8:30:37

yeah exactly my point. and if they didn't log out on their own, the sound would still go off anyway, so at least you know they were gone.

I like this idea alot.

Post 6 by rat (star trek rules!) on Monday, 05-Dec-2005 12:09:37

i would go for the idea if the admins could add it

Post 7 by yankee g wolverine (Account disabled) on Monday, 05-Dec-2005 16:32:26

oy, the admins have said it isn't an easy thing to do, and why not just bring your old board up? why make a new one? it's a good plan if it was workable

Post 8 by Rune Knight (Ancient Demon - Darkness will always conquer Light!) on Tuesday, 06-Dec-2005 3:11:56

I brought this up before and it hasn't happened yet.

Post 9 by cuddle_kitten84 (I just keep on posting!) on Tuesday, 06-Dec-2005 9:15:52

i really think it should soon.

Post 10 by Selena Fan (Account disabled) on Saturday, 10-Dec-2005 4:56:06

I really think it is a good idea, and I'd like to see it happen!

Post 11 by cuddle_kitten84 (I just keep on posting!) on Saturday, 10-Dec-2005 6:36:17

yeah same here, please admins please.

Post 12 by JH_Radio (I've now got the silver prolific poster award! wahoo!) on Sunday, 11-Dec-2005 3:30:42

What a great idea! I like it, please bring it to us.

Post 13 by Jage (Zone BBS, a decade of madness) on Tuesday, 13-Dec-2005 0:49:42

Remember, most people don't log out. the ones that actually do are probably more often than not the ones that also announce it.

Post 14 by cuddle_kitten84 (I just keep on posting!) on Thursday, 29-Dec-2005 6:16:28

hehee yeah, it's still a good idea anyway. and when you press alt f4 on the keyboard, they go out anyway.

Post 15 by laced-unlaced (Account disabled) on Thursday, 29-Dec-2005 9:06:32

yes it's a really good idea.

even if they don't log out on there own there could be something when the zone loggs them out

Post 16 by alison (my ISP would be out of business if it wasn't for this haven I live at) on Thursday, 29-Dec-2005 23:39:29

I think that's a good idea.

Post 17 by cuddle_kitten84 (I just keep on posting!) on Friday, 30-Dec-2005 8:42:16

hehe yeah i agree star gate.

Post 18 by The Lil Dark Piggy (This site is so "educational") on Saturday, 31-Dec-2005 13:14:37

Yes sounds like a good idea.

There needs to be a sound for when some one logs off just like there is a sound for when some one is logged in.

Dom.

Post 19 by The Lil Dark Piggy (This site is so "educational") on Sunday, 01-Jan-2006 10:10:00

The admens need to do it soon!

I hope they do it.

Oh pplease admens.

Post 20 by Rune Knight (Ancient Demon - Darkness will always conquer Light!) on Tuesday, 03-Jan-2006 8:12:04

Like I said before I brought this up along with a few others and it hasn't happened and plus the Admins say it isn't workable right now. Well anyways by all means keep your fingers crossed for when you never know someday the Admins may figure out a way to work this out. May be while though keep that in mind.

Post 21 by bozmagic (The rottie's your best friend if you want him/her to be, lol.) on Monday, 13-Mar-2006 9:43:47

Well I think there should be a sound for when someone's logged out and also for when you receive quicknotes from anybody.

Post 22 by Pure love (I'm going for the prolific poster awards!) on Monday, 13-Mar-2006 9:50:15

Yeah if it is not easy to do ... it is kind of sad because it would be very useful.

Post 23 by rat (star trek rules!) on Monday, 13-Mar-2006 18:52:29

there is a sound for qns, make sure your sounds are turned on

Post 24 by cuddle_kitten84 (I just keep on posting!) on Wednesday, 15-Mar-2006 9:44:21

well, don't we get any say? i've payed for my premium membership and we should get some say in what goes on.

Post 25 by JH_Radio (I've now got the silver prolific poster award! wahoo!) on Saturday, 18-Mar-2006 16:01:59

Still not enough stuff on here for me to pay for it.

Post 26 by rat (star trek rules!) on Monday, 20-Mar-2006 17:05:11

then, you might be waiting for a while.

Post 27 by JH_Radio (I've now got the silver prolific poster award! wahoo!) on Tuesday, 21-Mar-2006 3:53:05

I have plenty of time to wait. Cause like I said, there's just not enough stuff on here to warrent paying.

Post 28 by rat (star trek rules!) on Tuesday, 21-Mar-2006 11:01:48

have you taken in to account that you can do more when you are premium?

Post 29 by romeo (the strongest man for love) on Thursday, 23-Mar-2006 7:14:10

i think that is a good idea it could also tell you who has loged out. just like when you log in

Post 30 by Liz (The Original) on Thursday, 23-Mar-2006 14:29:31

I think it would be a good idea, but maybe have it filtered so you could set the sound for specific users so you don't have too many sounds coming at you at once. Just my views, for what they're worth...

Post 31 by rat (star trek rules!) on Thursday, 23-Mar-2006 19:22:51

Hmmm, didn't think of that, that could be helpful.

Post 32 by JH_Radio (I've now got the silver prolific poster award! wahoo!) on Friday, 24-Mar-2006 0:56:47

Nothing that I'd really use though, Mikey. And good one, Gizzard! Grin

Post 33 by crimson x (This site is so "educational") on Sunday, 09-Apr-2006 17:24:55

I think we shood be able to tell the system how long we want to be on line.

Post 34 by bozmagic (The rottie's your best friend if you want him/her to be, lol.) on Sunday, 09-Apr-2006 19:12:59

Well, I don't think that last idea's a good one. Igf you told the system how long you wanted to be online, but you were in the middle of something and it kicked you off when your time had elapsed, you would not be happy. Nor would a lot of people when they were kicked offline.

Post 36 by cuddle_kitten84 (I just keep on posting!) on Wednesday, 12-Apr-2006 6:40:01

yeah that feature happens on a forum i go on and it kicks you off at a certain time. yeah i think the filtering is a good idea, and you can only set it to your friends, so you don't keep sending them private qns when they're actually not on the site any more.`

Post 37 by cjw1986 (higher) on Monday, 17-Apr-2006 19:29:40

why do you think that you should be allowed to set how long you are on line

Post 38 by cuddle_kitten84 (I just keep on posting!) on Tuesday, 18-Apr-2006 11:28:51

there's not many forums i know that do that, only 1.
